At the Belgium Specialty held in September of 2003 the Best in Show Bouvier was Gjis Santos from the Dogsfarm and the Best of Opposite Sex was the bitch Lois Noortje from the Dogsfarm. A breeding had taken place between these two winners a couple of weeks prior to the show . From this combination a litter of eleven puppies was born. Our pick from the litter was a bitch that we named Jachie from the Dogsfarm.

A beautiful black coat and an ideal disposition make Lois stand out in any group of bitches in which she is competing. She has a very outstanding personality is very easy to live with.
She is the dam of Rick Lois from the Dogsfarm who is one of the top young dogs in Europe and was recently exported to England where he is winning many shows. A litter mate to Jachie that is named "Mighty" is at present placing high in shows in the Netherlands.

Gijs Santos is being shown extensively at the present time. In the photograph above he is shown as Best of Breed in Barcelona, Spain.
Gijs was selected as Best of Breed and placed 4th in the Working Group at Crufts on March 13, 2005. He won the Dog Challenge Certificate and his dam, Dutch Champion Santos Amber from the Dogsfarm, won the Reserve Female Challenge Certificate. Congratulations for an outstanding accomplishment to Erik and his kennel.
He has a beautiful top line and size that is at the top of the standard. He is hard to ignore in the show ring and additionally is the type of dog that "stacks himself."
